Rates as shown are my personal "offer/bid" prices for purchases made with silver coins as of 3/5/2011. Subject to change as needed, silver is prone to fluctuations in price per ounce. Of late silver has remained in the high 34 to mid 35 FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE denominated dollar range (see KITCO chart at the left) and that is the base for my silver coin offer/bid prices as shown. I also like what the U.S. Mint calls "American Eagles", more commonly referred to as "Silver Eagles". They have a higher rate than silver dollars due to the one ounce bullion factor an old U.S. Silver dollar does not have. Again, the United States Mint currently makes a coin with real monetary value, as have other mints like Australia and Canada. Silver Eagles, Kookaburras and Silver Maples back themselves up as they are Real Money! $37.50 FRN is my personal "offer/bid" price for purchases made with American Silver Eagle, Australian Kookaburra or Canadian Silver Maple coins as of 3/5/2011. Subject to change as needed, again, silver is prone to fluctuations in price per ounce.. I believe silver coins stored in a bank safety deposit box is preferred to worthless inflated paper note bank accounts at the same institution. Less "bank personal" to deal with that way, just the person in charge of the vault. Obviously, you would be using snail mail with any coinage payment unless picking up in person.
I accept good old-fashioned U.S. Postal Service® and MoneyGram© Money Orders denominated in FEDERVE RESERVE NOTE rates you snail mail in. I don't have to deal with any crooked bankers that way. Now I will take a Bank Check or Checque denominated in FEDERVE RESERVE NOTE rates, provided: a) the bank does not charge a fee for not being an account holder, b) the bank exists nationwide and c) the bank does not require thumb prints to cash their own Bank Checks. Usually, that is the case with Bank Checks and they will just cash them with ID, however I reserve my right not to have any commercial contract with any Bank requesting thumb prints. The above applies to Personal Checks as well, and from what I know of around here, the banks are requiring thumb prints to cash Personal Checks. If that is the case, your Check payment will be returned or destroyed per your written intentions.
Handling Charges.....
Neon signs, neon tubes, neon channel letters and glass items in general require the utmost in care packing and I make sure the glass is safe. I want what you want - a glass item that arrives in one piece! My handling fee is considerably less than what shipping stores would charge. Recycling of envelopes, boxes and packing materials is done whenever possible so there is basically no "cost" as such for purchasing these items. This reduces shipping costs for packing materials and saves on landfill space. Non fragile items offered for sale through this website, like diecast cars, have no handling charges. Time charges for careful packing to ship neon or any glass containing items safely are as follows:
- Neon signs the packing charge is $26.00FRN. (except those with original factory packing cartons subtract $10.00FRN)
- Neon channel letters that have glass tubes the packing charge is $13.00FRN. (letters without tubes are $6.00FRN).
- Separate neon tubes have a packing charge of $6.00FRN on first tube, $2.50FRN on each additional tube packed in the same carton when possible. Due to breakage concerns, shapes and lengths of certain tubes, I cannot promise to always be able to combine individual glass tubes to ship in one box.
- Neon signs the packing charge is $1.00 Old Circulated Pre-1964 United States Silver Coin (Like Morgan or Peace Dollar). (except those with original factory packing cartons subtract $.40)
- Neon channel letters that have glass tubes the packing charge is $.50 Old Circulated Pre-1964 United States Silver Coins (Like Barber, Walker or Franklin Half Dollar).
- Neon channel letters without tubes the packing charge is $.25 Old Circulated Pre-1964 United States Silver Coin (Like Barber, Standing Liberty or Washington Quarter Dollar).
- Separate neon tubes have a packing charge of $.25 Old Circulated Pre-1964 United States Silver Coin (Like Barber, Standing Liberty or Washington Quarter Dollar). on first tube, $.10 Old Circulated Pre-1964 United States Silver Coin (Like Barber, Mercury or Roosevelt Dime) on each additional tube packed in the same carton when possible. Again, due to breakage concerns, shapes and lengths of certain tubes, I cannot promise to always be able to combine individual glass tubes to ship in one box.
Now, see any major difference here? I hope so. We are in a depression! Hell, I'll pack a neon sign for safe shipping for a silver dollar! Beat that FEDERAL RESERVE! Yep, if I will work for an hour for one honest, true and real American Silver Dollar, it's a depression folks! I have more info at my definitions, information and enlightenment page. Have to admit, if you are unaware, or still sleeping, it IS time to WAKE UP! So I've provided a start on why I blame the bankers for the mess the WORLD is it!........ And YES, YOU can make a difference! Two things tell us what real money is, the Bible and The United States Constitution. For each man and/or woman who stands up to say they will be respectful and require respect in return, we chop off the connection between what ails this globe and our sovereign being. It's really simple folks - only use FRN's where you absolutely have to (paying corporations and buying from your coin dealer)! Time to use real money for private transactions between ourselves. It just costs too much to use the bankster's fiat (paper) money period. So do what you can to severely limit your use of inflated, irredeemable "FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES"!
Shipping Options & Rates.....
Local pick up of neon signs, channel letters, argon/neon tubes or anything offered through this website is always welcomed at a public place at no cost. Neon signs/channel letters that need to be shipped will travel via Fed Ex Ground® service or via the U.S. POSTAL SERVICE©. I like to use Fed Ex® for shipping neon signs or channel letters because they handle the heavier higher dollar fragile item packages the best! Note that Fed Ex® does not ship to P.O. boxes, as they are not the post office. East of Mississippi United States average rate is $30.00FRN to $35.00FRN. West of Mississippi United States average rate is $40.00FRN to $45.00FRN. Individual argon/neon tubes will ship via U.S. POSTAL SERVICE© Insured Priority Mail®. USPS has excellent rates with light packages, Fed Ex® does not. Diecast and other items offered for sale through this website will ship via U.S. POSTAL SERVICE© Parcel Post or Priority Mail®. again, USPS© has excellent rates with light packages, Fed Ex® does not.
